ROAD TO OLD TRAFFORD

Road to Old Trafford is a unique football tournament in India which was held for the first time in 2023. The tournament, held across 4 cities (Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Pune and Kolkata).

The 60 teams across the 4 cities first played a local city leg after which the city winners faced each other in the national finale at Bengaluru all for the chance of a lifetime – an opportunity to play at the hallowed turf of the iconic Old Trafford Stadium, home of Apollo Tyres’ partner Manchester United.

The football tournament saw exceptional talent battle it out on the ground, but in the end, one team took the spoils – Kalina Rangers from Mumbai.

But not only that, we recognised the exceptional talent, not only Kalina Rangers but 3 best players also won this dream to play at Old Trafford.

These winners then travelled to Manchester in June and made their lifelong dream come true.

GLOBAL FINALE

Continuing their journey from the Road to Old Trafford, Kalina Rangers and the best players from the tournmanet made their way to Manchester. But they were not alone, they were joined by by talented players from across the country who won this spot by participating in our Skill Challenge showcasing their football skills. But this was not it, our players were also joined by some Indian Legends – former National Team Captain Renedy Singh, former National Team Players Jeje Lalpekhlua and Robin Singh and former Tottenham Hostpur player Tanvie Hans.

Joined by Manchester United Legends, Andy Cole, Dimitar Berbatov, and Wes Brown as well as our UK Team, Team Zeus; four teams battled it out for the winning prize at the Old Trafford.

All players were impressive, but Kalina Rangers came out on top again, taking the grand prize home.
