Apollo Tyres United League
Apollo Tyres partnered with global video game publisher KONAMI and Manchester United to launch the 'Apollo Tyres United League' – a mobile-based eSports tournament played on eFootball PES 2021. The unique tournament was held across multiple regions, including India, Australia, South Africa, Middle East, South East Asia, Sri Lanka and Nepal, making it the first-of-its-kind in terms of both format and partnership.
As the global tyre partner of Manchester United, Apollo Tyres conducted aneSports initiative of this scale for the first time. The 'Apollo Tyres United League' featured three categories – Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels – and attracted over 2 million gamers. The three winners from each category received a trip to Old Trafford, including a matchday experience at the stadium and the opportunity to play in-person against Manchester United's eSports players.
