Apollo Tyres has been supporting football in various ways. Apart from sponsoring some of the biggest clubs in the world, we are also promoting football in India through grass-root support.
At Apollo Tyres, we are actively involved in promoting the sport and have sponsored several football teams and events in the country. One of the most notable examples of Apollo Tyres' support for football is our partnership with Manchester United since 2013. Apollo Tyres' logo appears on Manchester United's training kits, and we have several promotional campaigns such as #UnitedWeWin to engage with fans.
Apart from Manchester United, Apollo Tyres has also sponsored other football clubs in different parts of the world, including Chennaiyin FC in India, Crystal Palace FC in England, and Borussia Monchengladbach in Germany. Additionally, Apollo Tyres has also supported various football events, including the UEFA Euro 2016, the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
"Apollo Tyres Go the Distance Heroes" is a program initiated by Apollo Tyres to recognize and celebrate the achievements of people who go are facilitating sporting programs for children and under-priviliged communities. The program has received a positive response from the industry and has helped in creating awareness about sports among children and their parents.

The United We Play programme is an on-ground grassroots football initiative, supported by Manchester United to encourage young football talent from across the country by giving them a platform to showcase their skills with the objective of motivating aspiring footballers to continue playing and introducing them to global training methodologies.
The first two seasons received an overwhelming response with over 10,000 players from the country participating in the hybrid programme comprising on-ground trials and virtual sessions with Manchester United Soccer Schools’ coaches. The last season saw 4 young footballers – Chennai’s R S Preyarhanjan, Meghalaya’s Federick Kurbah, Chandigarh’s Ronald Singh and Pune’s Kunal Yeole get a lifetime opportunity to visit Old Trafford to participate in exciting activities like a match-day experience, training session with Manchester United Soccer School coaches, and a chance to interact with the Club’s Legends.
David De Gea, Anthony Elanga and Donny van de Beek, who are on their maiden visit to India, officially launched and kickstarted the activities for the third season of United We Play programme.
We came onboard as CFC's principal sponsor ahead of the 2017-18 ISL campaign, which the team won to become the first ISL team to qualify for the prestigious AFC Cup in 2019. Recently, the two-time Indian Super League champions roped in Apollo Tyres as its principal sponsor after signing a multi-year deal.
