Going beyond our primary stakeholders – customers – to a larger mass of the active working population. This is where Apollo’s up and downstream business partners become critical in the HIV-AIDS awareness and prevention chain.
The programme was launched through a conference where about a 100 raw material suppliers, based across the world gathered under one roof to understand and debate the merits of business-based social responsibility initiatives. With a common understanding, the group then began working on initiating change within their own organisations.
Master Trainers from Apollo are invited to the premises of its supply chain partners and educate their employees on awareness and prevention aspects of HIV-AIDS. The educated employees then act as change agents, amongst their own peers, in their respective organisations and within their supply chain.
Point of tyre sale has also become a critical avenue for spreading the message. One more influencer to work with customers. The health of a young and vibrant nation like India depends on every single influencer playing its role in nation building.
The list of supply chain partners, for whom Apollo has held sensitisation and training sessions, includes
