Tapan Mitra is responsible for developing robust HR systems and processes, which focus on performance management, leadership development and employee engagement. He has played an instrumental role in introducing initiatives which led to Apollo Tyres ranking as one of the Top 20 Employers in India. He comes from a rich background of managing HR challenges in various manufacturing companies.
A Delhi University Gold Medalist and National Scholarship holder, he has a post graduate degree in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics. His last assignment was with Ballarpur Industries Ltd (BILT) responsible for People Development and Communications. An ardent photographer, Tapan Mitra enjoys reading and listening to western music. |
